Living in small fraternities, the Franciscans on the Mission of Love try to carry Jesus’ love.
The Franciscans on the Missions of Love is an "apostolic group”, which is created in order to evangelize according to the charism of Secular Franciscans in atheistic societies.
Among of addressees of the activity of the Missions of Love are people who haven’t known Christ yet, those ones who are far from Christ, the societies where the Church hasn’t taken root and which hasn’t imbibed the Gospel (RM 34).
The Missions of Love want to go there, where the Christians fraternities isn’t so mature to witness Jesus’ Gospel and to proclaim it another people (RM 33).
The Missions of Love interpret their task like the Church does – as "ad gentes” (Redemptoris Missio 33). Among the specific features of the Mission of Love are:

The first Mission of Love appeared on 11th November in 2005 in Novomoskovsk town of Dnipropetrovsk region. Two women, servants of the Franciscan School of Evangelization came there at the invitation of a local new parish in order to keep a temple and help for priests in the parish.
On 29th September in 2006 the second Mission of Love, concluding three servants of the FSE, appeared in the village Staryi Ostropil of Khmelnytskyi Region. This mission was sprung up for evangelic witness, keeping and rebuilding of Mary’s House.
On 25th March in 2007 the next Mission of Love was created in the village Dniprove (Jamburg) of Dnipropetrovsk Region. Two servants of the FSE came there in order to create the parish of neophytes and to rebuild a temple, destroyed by unknown people. A year later the Mission was closed after achievement performance targets.
(25.04)01.06.2008 The FSE blessed the Mission of Love in Sloviansk of Donetsk Region, which consisted of two servants of the School. This Mission is under the aegis of St.Cyril and St.Method. The aim of the Mission is to support a new parish and to evangelize through witness of life.
(18.05)01.06 .2009 The next Mission of Love, that consist three servants of the FSE, appeared in Sevastopol (the Crimea).This Mission is under the aegis of St.Clement, the Pope and the martyr. The aim of the Mission of Love in Sevastopol is to witness through evangelical life among ateists, Orthodox Christians and Islamites.
A new Mission of Love appeared on 10th January 2009. So far it’s the sixth Mission, which the Personal Fraternity of the SFO in Staryi Ostropil takes responsibility for. In order to proclaim Christ by their life and words two of our sisters come to Kramatorsk – an industrial city of Donetsk region. The advowee of that new Mission is John the Baptist.
