The Personal Fraternity of the SFO in Staryi Ostropil
Staryi Ostropil
Staryi Ostropil, a picturesque ancient Ukrainian village of Khmelnytsky Oblast, is a small place on the map of Ukraine, but it’s a very important one for us.
We called the place, where Mary’s House is, Mount of Beatitudes.
The House of Mary Humble Servant always meets Franciscans from different places of Ukraine. We rent the House in order to rebuild the temple of st.Archangel Michael. The temple is in the second part of the House. It serves the local parish.

Over the years the tower of st.Joseph appeared near Mary’s House. From this tower Staryi Ostropil is plainly visible.
There is a House of the Annunciation opposite Mary’s House, which the Personal Fraternity of the SFO keeps too. Franciscans often stay there.
Our brothers dug out a well near the House of the Annunciation. Itwas blessed.
The House of Bread is used for living of sisters from the Fraternity of Servants of Bread.
