The Personal Fraternity of the SFO in Staryi Ostropil

On 5th December 2009 the Council of Khmelnytsky Region made a fraternal visit to the Personal Fraternity of the SFO in Staryi Ostropil. In the visits the Council met members of the entire Fraternity and got to know with its groups. The visitors also had the opportunity to meet with participants of the Franciscan School of Evangelization and to see the methods of the Personal Fraternity evangelic work. Having verified the records and the administration of goods of the Fraternity, the Region Council drew up a record of the fraternal visit, in which it pointed out affirmative facts in the life and activities of the Franciscans of Staryi Ostropil, such as the admission of new members and the dynamic apostolic activity.

On 28th November 2009 there was a scheduled meeting of the Council of Khmelnytsky Region of the SFO. During this meeting the Statute of the Personal Fraternity of the SFO in Staryi Ostropil was unconditionally accepted. It was signed by br.Andriy Niemchenko OFM and br.Slavomir Plonsky OFM Cap, the spiritual assistants of Khmelnitsky Region. In this way the life and activity of our fraternity were coordinated with the legislation of the SFO. The Statue has rules of activities of all the groups of the Personal Fratenity in Staryi Ostropil. Among of them are the Franciscan School of Evangelization, Missions of Love, the Fraternity of Servants of Bread.
