Next youth convocation was held in Staryi Ostropil on May, 7-9 2010. The secular Franciscans met about 60 young people from different parts of Ukraine, viz from Kyiv, Lviv, Shepetivka, Gorodkivka, Vinnytsia and Dnipropetrovsk.  On May 1-3, 2010 a Chapter of servants and assistants of Franciscan School of Evangelization took place in Staryi Ostropil. On May 3, 2010 in the presence br.Slavomyr OFMCap, Spiritual Assistant FOS Khmelnytsky Region there was conducted the election chapter, which were elected members of the new Council of the personal fraternity of the SFO in S. Ostropil. By voting the Minister of the fraternity for the next three years was s.Tamila, which had already served this ministry about a year . Alla from Khmelnytski became the Vice Minister.

Next convocation of the FSE passed in Ostropil on 16-18th April. It was a convocation for the first course. About 60 people from different towns gathered in Ostropil. They could meet with Jesus in conferences, on prayer, in Divine Word, in the Eucharist, on the brotherly meetings.

The day of 13th February was eventful for our Fraternity and the whole Secular Franciscan Order. S.Zoya from Khmelnytsky had her perpetual profession while her husband, br.Petro, had the first temporary profession. Besides they became one of the wedded pairs that united in the new apostolic group "Witnesses of the Gospel".
Br.Boris from Khmelnytsky, another member of aforementioned group, and s.Liuba from Kamianets-Podilskyi began the time of formation in the Order. We congratulate you on your dicision to live the Gospel like st.Francis did.

There happened a big event in the life of the Personal Fraternity of the SFO in Staryi Ostropil on the eve of the celebration of Sts.Cyril and Methodius feast. Having praying and applying a fragment from the Acts 6:3-6, we had an afflation to create a new apostolic group to proclaim the Gospel. It was named "Witnesses of the Gospel”. The group includes four wedded pairs from Khmelnytsky ministering at the FSE. Their mission is to evangelize and witness by their life in parishes and Franciscan fraternities, where they will be invited, therefore they can support them.
Thanks be to God for these brothers and sisters, who answered "Amen” and wanted to spread the Good News.
Dear Witnesses of the Gospel, may Jesus’ Spirit lead you!

A new Mission of Love appeared on 10th January 2009, on the date of the Epiphany. So far it’s the sixth Mission, which the Personal Fraternity of the SFO in Staryi Ostropil takes responsibility for. In order to proclaim Christ by their life and words two of our sisters, s.Valentyna and s.Yulia, come to Kramatorsk – an industrial city of Donetsk region. The advowee of that new Mission is John the Baptist.
Its the second s.Yulia's Mission of love. More than year she was on the Mission in Slaviansk.
